High in the \u0160umava foothills stands <\/span>Ka\u0161perk<\/b><\/em>, the highest royal castle in Central Europe. <\/span>Trosky<\/b><\/em> experienced a rapid rise and fall \u2013 from its foundation in the 14th century, it took only a hundred years for it to be abandoned.
