Czech restaurants were rated by GAULT&MILLAU

The latest Gault&Millau guide has brought exciting news for Czech gastronomy. While Prague remains a culinary powerhouse, this year’s awards confirm that top-tier dining can be found beyond the capital as well.
Gault&Millau evaluates restaurants based on food, service, and ambiance, awarding the best with three chef’s hats, a mark of exceptional quality. This year, several Prague restaurants received this prestigious recognition: La Degustation Bohême Bourgeoise, Dejvická 34 by Tomáš Černý, La Finestra in Cucina, Levitate, Mlýnec, Port au Feu, Štangl, U Matěje, Stůl, and Terasa u Zlaté Studně.
However, the most remarkable success comes from Papilio in Vysoký Újezd, located just 30 minutes drive from Prague, which secured four chef’s hats. This proves that world-class dining experiences are no longer limited to the capital, offering food lovers even more reasons to explore new culinary destinations.
